Real Madrid's winger Offers Apology to The Madrid Club Devotees
The forward has netted five strikes in ten Spanish league matches during the current campaign.
Los Merengues attacker Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to supporters for his conduct when taken off in Sunday's intense match against Barcelona win.
Vinicius was replaced in the 72nd min and expressed his annoyance by heading directly to the dressing room.
Vinicius eventually reappeared to the bench and, following his club's 2-1 victory, attempted to approach the opposition's Lamine Yamal during contentious final whistle exchanges.
"Today I want to express regret to all the Real Madrid fans for my response when I was taken off in the big match," the player wrote on social media.
"In the same way as I have previously expressed during the latest practice, I wish to apologise again to my teammates, the team, and the president.
"At times emotion overcomes me because I always want to succeed and help my side. My determined nature stems from the passion I hold for this club and each thing it stands for."
He moved to the Spanish capital from Flamengo in 2018 for millions and has scored 111 goals in numerous matches.
But his prospects in the La Liga is far from certain with speculation in lately suggesting that the club would consider permitting the young star leave if they obtained a good proposal.
When he was substituted on Sunday, broadcast footage from broadcaster the service recorded him remarking: "Again me! I'm departing the side! It's wiser if I depart, I'm moving on."
In his latest message on the platform, the athlete said: "I commit to keep fighting every second for the good of the club, as I have performed since the initial arrival."
